                                           Lin Chi ｜ Taiwanese Contemporary Artist

LINCHI is a contemporary Taiwanese artistic creator celebrated for her vibrant and emotionally charged language of colour. Seamlessly weaving abstract expressionism, life philosophy, and inner emotional projection, her work utilizes blossoms, the cosmos, nature, and fluid compositions as visual metaphors to explore the intricate relationships between human emotion, cultural connection, and the eternal cycles of life.

The founding seed of LINCHI’s artistry stems from a profound dedication to projecting "hope," "blessings," and "healing." She firmly believes that art transcends mere visual representation; it is a vital exchange of energy and emotion. Her canvases embrace rich, highly saturated colours and free-flowing brushstrokes, symbolizing love, resilience, rebirth, and a cross-cultural resonance through which she expresses her deepest affections.

With an intuitive approach and a strong sense of personal spirituality, LINCHI’s creative style beautifully integrates an Eastern understanding of life's cycles and inner balance, reflecting the subtle yet deep bonds that connect humanity to the wider world.

💬 In the Artist's Words: LINCHI

"When I begin a painting, I believe the first step is to establish a theme, find its position, and then tell a story. From the first stroke to the final touch, I pour the greatest blessings from the depths of my heart into a dedicated beginning. Whether choosing a colour or laying down paint, I follow my inner knowing.

My teacher once remarked, 'The blossoms you paint have the ethereal quality of clouds!' I replied, 'You teach wonderfully, but I am not meant for rigid, meticulous detail work. I am not training to become a traditional teacher; I want to be a chic, fashionable painter.'

I want to seamlessly blend my artwork into everyday lifestyle. We are people of golden skin and dark hair, and that heritage is precisely why I chose the peony as my starting point—the foundation seed for my journey as an artist. The peony represents prosperity, wealth, and the beautiful craft of floral art. In 2018, I returned to my roots, and my hometown happens to be the 'home of flowers.' I have always believed that one day, I would be 'discovered by the blossoms' and find my true stage. Perhaps, I am just looking far into the horizon."

2022

She successfully held her solo exhibition Hope in Taiwan, marking the first comprehensive showcase of her signature series.

2023

She presented her contemporary painting solo exhibition, The Inner Firmament. In this exhibition, micro-personal emotions are projected onto a macro-cosmic narrative, shifting visual perspectives from splendid, swirling cosmic nebulas to breathtaking aerial nightscapes and serene mountain ranges glimpsed from airplane windows. This narrative is paired with a series of boldly blooming impasto florals reminiscent of a rainbow spectrum, built with powerful oil textures.

2023

She held a dedicated Year of the Rabbit exhibition titled Leaping Through Time, Auspicious Seasons. Revolving around the seasonal rhythms and fluid transitions of the twelve months in the Gui-Mao zodiac year, she utilized rich and vibrant color textures to create a collection filled with healing energy and vitality, successfully translating traditional zodiac culture into contemporary visual essays.

琳姬（Lin Chi）為來自台灣的當代藝術創作者，以鮮明而富有情感能量的色彩語言聞名。她的作品融合抽象表現、生命哲思與內在情感投射，透過花卉、宇宙、自然與流動性的構圖，探索人類情感、文化連結與生命循環之間的關係。

琳姬的創作起點來自於對「希望」與「祝福療癒」的深刻感受。她相信藝術不只是視覺表現，更是一種能量與情感交流。作品中大量使用高彩度色彩與自由流動的筆觸，象徵生命中的愛、韌性、重生與跨文化共鳴表達自己的愛。

她的作品經常以宇宙、花朵與自然元素作為視覺隱喻，反映人與世界之間微妙而深層的連結。獨樹一幟的直覺性創作在於專注自己用生命力執筆，完美揉合了東方文化裡關於生生不息與內在和諧的深邃哲理。

我在畫圖的時候我認為開始就是要先設定好主題,然後定位然後說故事。

開始到結束就是用盡內心最大的祝福,認真開始。不管從選顏色到下筆,就像

我的知道,老師說:「我畫的花朵有雲的感覺!」

我都跟老師說:「你教的很好,我不是一個可以工整細工慢活的人,因為我不

是將來要教的老師!我要當一個時尚畫家。」

把我的畫作融入生活當中,我們是黃皮膚、黑頭髮。

這也是為什麼我會選擇從牡丹花開始,而設定自己走向畫家的基礎種子。

花開富貴,花藝創作，因為2018年我回到故鄉,我的故鄉在花的故鄉!相信有一天我會被花現。花現舞臺。

  於台灣成功舉辦個展《希望》（Hope），首次完整展出其具代表性的系列作品。

• 2023年

  舉辦《內在星穹》（The Inner Firmament）當代繪畫個展。作品將微觀的內在情感投射於宏觀的宇宙敘事中，視角從絢麗斑斕的星河漩渦，延伸至機窗外鳥瞰的萬家燈火與靜謐山巒；同時並置了一組以彩虹光譜為概念、運用強烈油彩肌理大膽堆疊的厚塗繁花。

• 2023年

  舉辦兔年系列個展《時光躍動，歲月呈祥》（Leaping Through Time, Auspicious Seasons）。在該次展出中，藝術家以歲次癸卯之十二個月歲時節令與時光流轉為題，大膽運用飽滿細膩的色彩，創作出一系列兼具療癒感與蓬勃生命力的兔年作品，成功將傳統生肖文化轉譯為具備當代視覺質感的藝術隨筆。
